For a period of 3 years after lead hazard reduction activities have been completed, the owner must perform the following:

Make an appointment with either agency to submit an application to the Lead Safe Washington program:

• Marshall Heights is located at 3939 Benning Road, NE and may be reached at (202) 396-1200 ext. 132.
• Housing Counseling Services is located at 2410 17th Street, NW and may be reached by phone at (202) 667-7006.

Multifamily Property Owners

Please call the Lead Safe Washington Hotline at (202) 442-7180 to learn more and apply to the program. The Department of Housing and Community Development will assign a community based organization to conduct the income verification intake process on each tenant household in your property.
