News Release for Immediate Release February 25, 2004 March 10th Public Hearing Announced - “Draft Proposed Consolidated Plan for the District of Columbia Fiscal Year 2005 Action Plan”  (Washington, DC) Mr. Stanley Jackson, Director, Department of Housing and Community Development (Department), announces a Public Hearing on the “Draft Proposed Consolidated Plan for the District of Columbia Fiscal Year 2005 Action Plan”. The hearing will begin at 6:30 p.m., on Wednesday, March 10, 2004, at 801 North Capitol Street, N.E., Washington, D.C., 9th Floor Board Room. The purpose of the hearing is to provide the public with an opportunity to express its views on the “Draft Proposed Consolidated Plan for the District of Columbia Fiscal Year 2005 Action Plan” and budgets to be submitted to the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD). Community Development Block Grant Program HOME Investment Partnerships Program Emergency Shelter Grant Program Housing Opportunities for Persons with AIDS Program (HOPWA) The Department will utilize this input from the public, consistent with the District’s economic development strategy, citywide strategic plan, and identified strategic target areas, to finalize the “Proposed Consolidated Plan for the District of Columbia Fiscal Year 2005 Action Plan” for submission to the Council of the District of Columbia and HUD.
