News Release for Immediate Release June 17, 2004 Funds Available for Administration of Home Purchase Assistance Programs  (Washington, DC) The Department of Housing and Community Development (DHCD) is making funds available to Community-Based Development Organizations (CBDOs) for administration of the many programs that fall within the rubric of home purchase assistance programs. DHCD is now accepting grant proposals from CBDOs to provide comprehensive administration of the Home Purchase Assistance Program (HPAP), the Employer-Assisted Housing Program (EAHP), the Metropolitan Police Housing Assistance Program (MPHAP), the Home Purchase Assistance Step-Up Program (HPASUP), and the Home Ownership Developers’ Incentive Fund (HoDIF). The deadline for application submissions is Friday, July 9, 2004 at 4:00pm. DHCD expects to execute the grant agreement by October 1, 2004.
