Up To $1.25 Million Available for Crime Prevention Initiatives
(Washington, DC) The Department of Housing and Community Development (DHCD) is making available up to $1.25 million in federal Community Development Block Grant funds to nonprofit organizations for Crime Prevention Initiatives in "Hot Spot" areas designated by the City Administrator for crime reduction.
DHCD is accepting grant applications from community-based, non-profit organizations to sponsor or develop crime prevention initiatives in "Hot Spot" areas of the District.
The deadline for application submissions is Friday, July 8, 2005 at 4:00pm.
DHCD provides a variety of services to individuals and organizations interested in neighborhood revitalization and affordable housing in the District.
