A core part of DHCD’s mission is to revitalize communities. Many of the Department’s programs are intended to stabilize and revitalize neighborhoods. Specific examples of these efforts include the Ivy City Special Demonstration Project, Small Business Technical Assistance and Storefront Façade.
To ensure that programs and funding recipients serve District residents as desired, DHCD conducts appropriate oversight.
