The Department of Housing and Community Development (DHCD) will host an Open House for the District-owned property located at 850 19th Street NE, WDC on Saturday April 29, 2023 from 12 - 4PM.

DHCD's New Location
On April 1st, DHCD moved to its new location at 1909 Martin Luther King Jr. Avenue SE, and the location at 1800 Martin Luther King Jr. Avenue SE closed on Friday, March 29th. DHCD opened at its new location on Tuesday, April 2, 2024.

DHCD Needs Assessment Public Hearings: DC Draft FY 2026 Annual Action Plan (AAP)
Needs Assessment Public Hearings: DHCD will host Needs Assessment public hearings on housing and community development needs in the District of Columbia to receive community feedback to help form a basis for developing the draft of the District of Columbia Fiscal Year Annual Action Plan and the spending priorities utilizing federal entitlement funds.
