In recognition of June as National Homeownership Month, the DC Department of Housing and Community Development (DHCD) will host the "Homeownership Readiness Fair." 

The free event will provide District residents with information and resources on homeownership and housing opportunities. The event will include workshops providing an overview of the respective housing government agencies, housing counseling, how to manage credit, the inclusionary zoning program and the Tenant Opportunity to Purchase Act (TOPA). There will be representatives from other respective government and non-governmental organizations (e.g., financial institutions, utility companies, and other professional housing organizations).
