In accordance with the District Government’s adjusted operating status in response to COVID-19, the Housing Resource Center remains operational, but will be unavailable to the public for in-person services from Monday, March 30, 2020, until May 15, 2020. Please see below for further guidance.
RENTAL ACCOMMODATIONS DIVISION (RAD)
RAD is still accepting filings and answering customer service telephone calls. Filings may be submitted by: (1) Dropping off hard copies in the secure box located across from the security guard’s desk at DHCD offices (1800 Martin Luther King, Jr., Ave, SE); (2) USPS mail delivery; or (3) emailing documents scanned in a pdf format to [email protected]. NOTE: Electronic filings are limited 10 submissions each day per person, landlord, agent, representative, and/or attorney.
RAD Staff will collect and process documents dropped off in the secure box or delivered by mail one to two times per week. As DC Government is on an adjusted operating status, documents will be processed as capacity permits. There is no same day service. If filings are incomplete, you will be notified by telephone, email, or mail.

CONVERSION AND SALE DIVISION (CASD)
CASD is still accepting filings and answering customer service telephone calls. Documents for filing with CASD may be dropped off in the secure box across the security guard’s desk at DHCD offices (1800 Martin Luther King, Jr., Ave, SE) or emailed to [email protected].
Please deliver any packages which contain checks or cannot fit into the secure box to DHCD’s Administrative Services Office.
