The National Housing Trust Fund (NHTF) is a new federal affordable housing production program that will complement existing District of Columbia efforts to increase the supply of affordable housing for extremely low-income households, including homeless families and individuals, and persons with special needs.

DC Homeowner Assistance Fund

The DC Homeowner Assistance Fund has allocated all of its federal relief funding and will no longer provide grant assistance or payments to District homeowners affected by COVID-19.
