(Washington, DC) - DHCD’s Housing Regulation Administration will hold Housing Provider and Tenant Stakeholder Meeting on Tuesday, March 9th and Thursday, March 11, respectively. Both meetings will be held from 2 pm to 4 pm at the Reeves Center, 2000 14th Street, NW, 2nd Floor Community Room, Washington, DC.

The first hour of this informative session will focus on rental conversion and sale issues, and the second hour will discuss rent control issues. HRA staff members will be present throughout the meeting to answer questions. The session will also include a brief update on HRA activities over the past few months and what our efforts will be in the coming months. Finally, we will also introduce HRA’s new Housing Provider Ombudsman, Kwofi Reed, and our new Housing Regulations Specialist, Anna Shapiro.
The purpose of the Housing Provider and Tenant Stakeholder Meetings is to bring housing provider stakeholders together to learn more about HRA and to discuss methods to improve HRA’s ability to meet the needs of housing providers and tenants in the District of Columbia.
