DHCD will host "The Nuts and Bolts of Home Repair Basics” on Tuesday, October 19 from 6:30 p.m. – 8:00 p.m. at the DHCD Housing Resource Center.
(Washington, DC) - The Department of Housing and Community Development (DHCD) will host “The Nuts and Bolts of Home Repair Basics” on Tuesday, October 19, 2010, from 6:30 p.m. – 8:00 p.m. at 1800 Martin Luther King, Jr. Avenue, Southeast, in the DHCD Housing Resource Center (Corner Entrance, 1st Floor Conference Room).
The seminar will focus on our Single Family Residential Rehabilitation Program and our Lead Safe Washington Program.
Topics will include, but are not limited to:
- Who is eligible for the program
- What repairs are covered
- How to apply
- How to work with contractors
- Basic facts you should know about lead hazards
