Mayor Bowser to Mark Progress Toward #36000by2025 with Two Major Housing Projects

(Washington, DC) – Today, Mayor Muriel Bowser, District officials, and community members will celebrate two milestones toward meeting the District’s goal of creating 36,000 new housing units, 12,000 of them affordable, by 2025.

Schedule of Events:

11 am: Opening of Delta Towers Affordable Housing Community for Senior Residents

Mayor Bowser will celebrate the completion of Fortitude at Delta Towers, a 100% affordable housing development that will deliver affordable housing for senior citizens.

12 pm: Groundbreaking of Northwest One Phase I Development

Mayor Bowser will celebrate the groundbreaking of Northwest One’s Phase I development in Ward 6. The long-awaited project will deliver housing units reserved for former residents of Temple Courts Apartments and Golden Rule.
