The Interagency Council on Homelessness (ICH) Housing Solutions Committee will be meeting on Thursday, June 11, 2015 from 2 pm to 3:30 pm. The meeting will be held at the DHCD Housing Resource Center, 1800 Martin Luther King Jr. Avenue, SE, Washington, DC 20020.

Purpose/Responsibilities:

  • Provide ongoing assessment of the permanent housing resource needs/gaps of the homeless services system (in coordination with the strategic planning committee);
  • Make recommendations to funders on annual investment priorities;
  • Identify recommended uses of mainstream and philanthropic resources to fill gaps;
  • Serve as formal link to the broader affordable housing efforts in the community;
  • Develop strategies to incentivize participation by landlords and developers;
  • Identify new financing sources and develop strategy for pursuing 
  • Identify policy, legal, or other barriers to developing PSH and other deeply affordable (0 to 30% AMI) housing and make recommendations for ameliorating.
