The District’s Inclusionary Zoning (IZ) Program is an innovative approach to house more Washingtonians. Thanks to IZ, residents can find safe and affordable housing in all areas of the city.

But eligible households have to fulfill certain criteria--such as taking an IZ Orientation Class.

DHCD is offering a weekend Inclusionary Zoning Class. If you have been unable to meet this criteria because the orientation classes were only offered during the week, Mark Your Calendars for December 1, 2018,  this date may work and get you closer to eligibility for an IZ units!
