The Department of Housing and Community Development will present an educational opportunity for Realtors and Housing Providers on Thursday, August 20, 2015 from 12:00 pm to 2:00 pm. This session will provide an overview of the District of Columbia’s Rental Housing Conversion and Sale Act of 1980 relating to tenants’ rights to purchase their building and first right of refusal. The meeting will be held at DHCD Housing Resource Center located at 1800 Martin Luther King Jr. Avenue SE, Washington, DC 20020.

The Department of Housing and Community Development Lead Safe Washington (LSW) Program will participate in the Shepard’s Park Family Fun Day Shepard’s Park Family Fun Day from 11:00 am until 4:00 pm on Saturday, July 25, 2015 at the intersection of Martin Luther King Jr. Avenue and Malcolm X Avenue SE. This LSW event is to increase awareness of lead poisoning prevention.
