Mayor Gray, Deputy Mayor Hoskins and DHCD Director Kelly Announce HPTF Advisory Board

(WASHINGTON, D.C.) – Today, Mayor Vincent C. Gray, Deputy Mayor of Planning and Economic Development Victor L. Hoskins and Department of Housing and Community Development (DHCD) Director Michael P. Kelly announced the newly appointed members of the District’s Housing Production Trust Fund (HPTF) Advisory Board and swore them in during a ceremony at the John A. Wilson Building.

DHCD Taking Requests to Review the Affordability of Current ADUs

The Department of Housing and Community Development (DHCD), pursuant to the authority granted by Mayor’s Order 2009-112 to monitor and enforce compliance with requirements to provide or maintain Affordable Dwelling Units (ADUs) in the District of Columbia, hereby gives notice that DHCD will intake requests to review the affordability of current ADUs. 

2012 CDBG, HOME, NSP, LIHTC and HPTF Program Limits

2012 HOME Income (Effective 12/1/11)

Annually, DHCD makes available to project developers and sponsors the current US Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) issued income and rent limits. As of the effective dates noted, and until further notice, project sponsors currently receiving CDBG, HOME, NSP, LIHTC or HPTF funds should use the following limits as they set their fiscal year 2012 occupancy and rent guidelines. The Washington, DC area median income as determined by HUD for fiscal year 2012 is to equal $107,500.

2013 CDBG, HOME, NSP, LIHTC and HPTF Program Limits

This document will provide the current income and rent limits for Community Development Block Grant (CDBG), HOME Investment Partnerships Program (HOME) and Neighborhood Stabilization Program (NSP) funded activities, as well as the Low-Income Housing Tax Credit (LIHTC) and Housing Production Trust Fund (HPTF) income and rent limits. These limits have been approved and issued by the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD).

FY 2014 Action Plan Final Rough Draft

The Department of Housing and Community Development (DHCD) announces the release of the final rough draft of the FY 2014 Annual Action Plan. The public hearing to receive public comment will take place on July 10, 2013 at the DHCD Headquarters located at 1800 Martin Luther King, Jr. Ave, SE Washington, DC 20020.
