The DC Department of Housing and Community Development, Rental Housing Commission (“Commission”) has scheduled a meeting for Thursday, May 3, 2018, 11:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m., in the Commission’s hearing room at 441 4th Street, Suite 1140B-North NW, Washington, DC 20001. Washington, DC) – The DC Department of Housing and Community Development (DHCD) announced that 28 affordable housing units—most of which will be family-sized—will be coming to Wards 1 and 5 as the result of the disposition of District-owned properties.
(WASHINGTON, DC) – The DC Department of Housing and Community Development (DHCD) recently closed on loan agreements totaling $9.2 million that will produce or preserve 94 units of affordable housing—expected to house over 170 residents in Wards 5 and 7. The financing was provided through the Housing Production Trust Fund (HPTF).
Specific rules must be followed when constructing a new residential condominium or cooperative building or converting an existing structure into one.
This session is designed to help housing providers and realtors understand the paperwork involved, including the rights of tenants who live in existing buildings, important steps to meeting registration requirements in a timely and legal manner.
