The District's rent control law sets limits on the amount and frequency of rent increases and gives tenants the right to challenge them. But housing providers and tenants first need to know how the law operates. This workshop offered by DHCD's Rental Accommodations Division (RAD) will help housing providers, as well as prospective and current tenants, understand these issues, and provide an opportunity to get their questions answered.
Pursuant to the requirements of D.C. Official Code Section 42-3171.03, the District of Columbia Department of Housing and Community Development (DHCD) has scheduled a public hearing to consider the proposed disposition of the property at 1642 - 1648 V Street SE. The public hearing is being conducted to ensure that citizens are informed about the selling of the property identified and to ensure that all citizens have the opportunity to present publicly their views concerning such sale.
Notice is hereby given that, pursuant to the requirements of D.C. The public hearing is conducted to ensure that all citizens are informed about the selling of the property to the named buyer and have the opportunity to publicly present their views concerning the sale.
Emergency and Proposed Inclusionary Zoning (IZ) Implementation Regulations were published on September 1 in the DC Register. DHCD will hold a briefing where agency representatives will summarize the proposed changes to the regulations and be available to answer questions.
