Department of Housing and Community Development (DHCD) will hold “Educational Series: Tenant Opportunity to Purchase Act (TOPA) for Realtors and Housing Providers” on Thursday, September 19, 2013 from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m. at the DHCD Housing Resource Center located at 1800 MLK Jr., Ave. SE, Washington, DC 20020. The purpose of the educational series is to provide an overview of the District of Columbia’s Rental Housing Conversion and Sale Act of 1980 relating to tenants’ rights to purchase their building and first right of refusal.

D.C. Department Of Housing And Community Development Releases Its FY 2014 Consolidated Annual Action Plan

WASHINGTON, DC – Today, the D.C. Department of Housing and Community Development (DHCD) released its Fiscal Year 2014 (FY14) Annual Action Plan. The Annual Action Plan is both an application to the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) for federal funding and a forward-looking document that outlines what DHCD will use those funds for in the fiscal year from October 1, 2013 through September 30, 2014.
