(Washington, DC) - The DC Department of Housing and Community Development selected Alex Cooper Auctioneers, Inc., through a competitive bid process, to perform the third annual live auction to dispose of 11 properties in the agency’s Property Acquisition and Disposition Division inventory. The properties to be auctioned consist of single family homes, multi-family buildings, and vacant lots. Participation in the auction will be limited to non-profit entities and District of Columbia Certified Business Enterprises. The auction is scheduled to take place on Thursday, November 10, 2011 at 2 pm, at the United States Navy Memorial, Burke Theatre, located at 701 Pennsylvania Avenue, NW, Washington, DC 20004.
