Mayor Bowser to Host Housing Rally in Support of Workforce and Affordable Housing Investments

(Washington, DC) – On Friday, May 10, at 11 am, Mayor Bowser will host a rally to highlight her Fiscal Year 2020 budget proposal’s increased affordable housing investments, including a new $20 million Workforce Housing Fund to create and preserve housing for teachers, first responders, social workers, hospitality workers, and others who serve DC.

Mayor Bowser will also make announcements regarding her 2025 housing goals and the District’s Comprehensive Plan.

The rally will occur at the site of Phase 3 of Cynthia Townhomes, a workforce housing project coming to Ward 7.
