DHCD, through a network of DC community-based organizations, provides counseling services for homeowners who are behind in their mortgage payments, or who are subject to foreclosure.

DCHFA Reverse Mortgage Insurance & Tax Payment Program (ReMIT)

ReMIT prevents qualified homeowners from losing their homes due to non-payment of tax and insurance required in the terms of the loan.
