By attending this hearing on the District's Fiscal Year 2021 Action Plan, you can help shape the development of policies and programs on: (1) affordable housing; (2) special needs housing; (3) homelessness; (4) homeownership; and (5) community development and public service activities.

The Action Plan is developed by the DC Department of Housing and Community Development (DHCD) regarding its use of U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) funds. Community input is an important part of this process.

Residents and stakeholders are strongly encouraged to provide input in the development of the five program areas listed above as well as feedback on innovative strategies to enhance community participation. The public comment period is from July 31 to August 10, 2020.
