With his 20+ years of real estate, finance and affordable housing experience, Christopher Earley most recently served as Vice President of Development for one of the nation's largest private sector affordable housing providers and was responsible for the planning, acquisition, financing, and development of various mixed-income housing communities in the District of Columbia, Maryland and Virginia.
Mr. Earley previously served for five years as a senior manager at a national financial instituition focusing on underwriting LIHTC and tax-exempt bond-financed investments across the country. Prior to that, Mr. Earley spent nearly a decade in various roles at DHCD. Through the course of his career, Mr. Earley has facilitated over $600 million in housing finance debt and equity investments, which has catalyzed over $1B of real estate development across the country.
In addition to his professional experiences, Mr. Earley has strong community ties in the District of Columbia. As a Ward 7 resident, Mr. Earley has advised various non-profit organizations that enhance the quality of life for District of Columbia residents, with a focus on healthcare, housing, and economic development.
Mr. Earley holds a Master of Business Administration Degree with a concentration in Finance and Real Estate from The University of Texas at Austin and a Bachelor’s Degree in Finance from Morehouse College.
