The Housing Production Trust Fund (HPTF) Advisory Board (Board) was established by the Council of the District of Columbia, under the Housing Production Trust Fund Act of 1988, effective on June 8, 1990 (DC Law 8-133; D.C. Official Code section 42-2802.01), as amended. The purpose of the Board is to advise the Mayor on the development, financing, and operation of the HPTF and other matters related to the production of housing for low to moderate-income households.

How Collaboration Leads To Homeownership

D.C. Closes Financing For 185-Unit Affordable Project In Petworth

A project that would create 185 affordable housing units in Northwest D.C.'s Petworth neighborhood is moving forward. Mayor Muriel Bowser announced Friday the District closed the financing for the Spring Flats project, a redevelopment of the historic Hebrew Home at 1125 Spring Road NW. The deputy mayor for planning and economic development selected Victory Housing in 2017 to develop the project. Wiencek + Associates is the project's architect. The property sits less than a half-mile from the Georgia Avenue-Petworth Metro station on the Green and Yellow lines....

Mayor Bowser Increases Funding for the Small Business Recovery Micro-Grant Program

Mayor Muriel Bowser and the Office of the Deputy Mayor for Economic Planning and Development (DMPED) announced more than $ 8 million in additional support for DC's Small Business Recovery Micro-Grant Program. The notifications to the companies to which the financing has been granted will begin this Thursday, April 30 and will continue until May 8, 2020….

To increase the availability of resources to meet needs, DMPED is partnering with the Department of Housing and Community Development (DHCD) and Events DC and has allocated $ 3 million in federal aid funds to the grants.
