Let's Talk Rent Control: Filing Rent Increases
The District of Columbia's rent control law sets limits on the amount and frequency of rent increases—and gives tenants the right to challenge them. But housing providers and tenants first need to know how the law operates, to include understanding the process for preparing and filing annual adjustments of general applicability and vacancy increases.
This workshop is presented by the Rental Accommodations Division (RAD) of the DC Department of Housing and Community Development (DHCD) will explain these requirements in detail.
