DC Fair Housing Symposium: The New Wave of Housing Discrimination
On Tuesday April 29, 2014, from 10:00 am to 3:00 pm, the DC Department of Housing and Community Development in partnership with the Office of Human Rights and the Equal Rights Center will host the “DC Fair Housing Symposium: Hidden in Plain Sight, the New Wave of Housing Discrimination”. The event will be held at the Mt. Vernon Place United Methodist Church located at 900 Massachusetts Ave NW, Washington, DC 20001.

February 19, 2014 Public Meeting
On Wednesday, February 19, 2014, DC Department of Housing and Community Development (DHCD) Director Michael P. Kelly, DHCD project staff and the developer of the proposed Cedar Hill Flats for the current “Big K” site development, held a public meeting to update and discuss the revised proposed development plans. The revised development plans will go back before the Historic Preservation Review Board on Thursday, February 27, 2014 from 1:10 to 2:45 pm. The presentation can be viewed below.

Department of Housing and Community Development (DHCD) in partnership with the Greater Washington Urban League celebrate “National Homeownership Month” by hosting an Annual DC Housing Expo/Home Show in June of each year.
