DHCD Community-Based Non-Profit Organizations (CBO) develop storefront façade improvement projects in low to moderate income retail/commercial areas in the District of Columbia. CBOs provide qualified business and/or property owners with professional design and construction services, and they also provide construction grants to refurbish commercial storefronts. Façade improvement enhances the image and overall economic viability of DC neighborhoods.
