In September, two homes on Martin Luther King Jr. Avenue in southeast D.C. were rehabilitated as part of an effort to transform and make available for purchase, formerly vacant and blighted properties in the historic Anacostia community.
At that time, D.C. Housing and Community Development Director Polly Donaldson also previewed an adjacent 15,000-square-foot lot designed for the construction of three single-family, semi-detached homes with private driveways.
