(Washington, DC) – The Department of Housing and Community Development (DHCD) will hold a seminar entitled “The Registration and Rent Adjustment Process for Residential Rental Property” on Wednesday, March 31 from 10 am – 2 pm at DHCD’s Headquarters. DHCD is located at 1800 Martin Luther King, Jr. Avenue SE, and the seminar will be held in the DHCD Housing Resource Center’s 1st Floor Conference Room. This seminar is part of DHCD’s Education Series.
Seminar topics include:
- License and registration requirements,
- How to complete the RAD registration/Claim of Exemption form,
- Discussion of rent adjustment petitions under the Rental Housing Act of 1985, as amended, and
- Explanation of RAD rent increase forms.
