The Clinic will be held Saturday, May 16 at Marshall Heights Community Development Organization from 10 am - 2 pm.
(Washington, DC) - The Department of Housing and Community Development will hold a FREE Community Foreclosure Prevention Clinic on Saturday, May 16. The clinic will be held at Marshall Heights Community Development Organization, located at 3939 Benning Road NE, from 10 am – 2 pm. The clinic is open to all DC residents.
The event will begin with a brief 10-15 clinic on how to avoid foreclosures. The remaining time will be dedicated to individual, one-on-one foreclosure counseling by HUD-approved and certified agencies.
For in-depth assistance, attendees should bring the following:
- A copy of your mortgage agreement
- Pay stubs (for employment & income verification)
- Late notices or default letter from your lender
- Copies of a credit report
