(Washington, DC) - Notice is hereby given that, pursuant to the requirements of D.C. Official Code Section 42-3171.03 (a)(1), the District of Columbia Department of Housing and Community Development (DHCD) has scheduled a public hearing on Tuesday, February 22, 2011 at 6 pm at DHCD’s Housing Resource Center located at 1800 Martin Luther King Jr., Ave, SE, First Floor Conference Room, to consider the proposed disposition of 1-13 Bass Circle, SE, 4600-4606 Benning Road, SE, 4608-4614 Benning Road, SE, 4505 B Street, SE, and 4611 Bass Place, SE (Square 5345 Lots 37 to 41), and the terms and conditions of the proposed Property Disposition and Development Agreement. The public hearing is being conducted in order to ensure that citizens are informed about the disposition of the property identified above to the named buyer, and to ensure that all citizens have the opportunity to present publicly their views concerning such disposition.
The Property Disposition and Development Agreement will be posted on DHCD’s website (dhcd.dc.gov) thirty (30) days prior to the scheduled public hearing and will also be available for public examination at the hearing.

Please provide your name, address, telephone number, and organization affiliation, if any. Telecommunications Device for the Deaf (TDD) relay service is available by calling (800) 201-7165. A sign language interpreter and language translation services are available upon request by calling Pamela Hillsman at (202) 442-7251. If you require language translation, please specify which language (Spanish, Vietnamese, Chinese-Mandarin/Cantonese, Amharic, or French). Language translation services will be provided to pre-registered persons only. Deadline for requiring services of an interpreter is seven (7) days prior to the hearing. Bilingual staff will provide services as available to walk-ins without registration.
