(Washington, DC) - The Department of Housing and Community Development (DHCD) today released a Solicitation for Offers (SFO) for the development of several District-owned properties.
Through the SFO, DHCD will seek public offers to build mixed-use development projects for housing and commercial use on the following sites:

The Solicitation for Offers application materials in CD format will be available for pickup on May 21, 2010 at Department of Housing and Community Development’s Housing Resource Center, located at 1800 Martin Luther King Ave, SE on the first floor. Printed copies of the application will made available upon request. Documents can also be downloaded below.
A pre-bid meeting will be held at 2 p.m. on Wednesday, June 16, 2010, at DHCD’s Housing Resource Center. The deadline for submitting proposal applications is 3 p.m. on Thursday, July 15, 2010.

The Department of Housing and Community Development (DHCD) is publicly announcing an amendment to the May 21, 2010 Solicitation of Offers for the development of several District-owned properties.
According to the Department of Consumer and Regulatory Affairs’ Zoning Administrator, the following properties are zoned as R-2: Square 5268, Lot 0009; Square 5268, Lot 0010; Square 5268, Lot 0011; Square 5268, Lot 0012; and Square 5268, Lot 0013. (Changes have been made in the listing above.)
Be advised that it is the sole responsibility of the developer to confirm the zoning of a development site and the permitted uses of a development site as part of the due diligence for developing a proposal.
