(Washington, DC) The DC Department of Housing and Community Development will hold a workshop on the "Nuts and Bolts of Home Repair Basics" on Wednesday, March 23, 2011 from 6:30 - 8:30 p.m. The event will be held in the DHCD Housing Resource Center Conference Room, located at 1800 Martin Luther King, Jr. Avenue, SE; Washington, DC 20020. Homeowners and potential homeowners are encouraged to attend.
This workshop is part of the DHCD Education Series.
Attendees will learn about the Department's Single Family Residential Rehabilitation Program, including:
- who is eligible for the program,
- what repairs are covered,
- how to apply, and
- how to work with contractors.
