- Click here for the Income Limits chart
- Choose the “CDBG Income Limits” link for the current year
- Find “District of Columbia” in the first column
- Read across to the column labelled “Lim80_24p1”
- Be employed by a Section 3 business
- Participate in the YouthBuild Program
Section 3 workers who live in the project neighborhood or service area are called targeted Section 3 workers.
Section 3 training, jobs or contracts are awarded to qualified Section 3 residents in this order:
- Category 1 – residents who meet the income limit and live in or near the funded project
- Category 2 – residents of public housing managed by the DC Housing Authority
- Category 3 – HUD YouthBuild Program participants
- Category 4 – residents of Section 8 housing and Section 8 voucher holders
How To Apply
Employers may advertise opportunities in your neighborhood, at the project site or in other places such as the District's Virtual One-Stop Career Center website.
