DHCD's Rent Registry Training for Large Housing Providers

Next Date:
Thursday, April 24, 2025 -
12:00pm to 2:00pm

Details:

Join the DC Department of Housing and Community Development (DHCD) at the Rent Registry Training for Small Housing Providers!

DHCD’s Rental Accommodations Division (RAD) manages the Rent Control / Rent Stabilization Program, a component of the Rental Housing Act regulating all residential rental housing in the District of Columbia. The Council of the District of Columbia mandated the creation of this database to transition from a paper-based system to a digital one. This new system is known as the Rent Registry, which was designed to provide transparency and insights into DC’s rental housing market for a wide variety of stakeholders – prospective tenants, current tenants, housing providers, District leadership, policymakers and analysts, researchers, and members of the general public. DHCD will have a demonstration to showcase the database.
