Public Roundtable on the Single-Family Residential Rehabilitation Program

The mission of the Department of Housing and Community Development (DHCD) is to produce and preserve opportunities for affordable housing and economic development and revitalize underserved communities in the District of Columbia. The Single-Family Residential Rehabilitation Program (SFRRP) contributes to our ability to meet all of these objectives. The program offers financing (grants and loans) to low-income homeowners for critical home repairs and mobility assistance carried out by licensed contractors, with a preference for small, minority District businesses.
Assessing Needs for the FY 2022-2026 Consolidated Plan and FY 2022 Annual Action Plan
The U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) allocates federal funding to the District of Columbia (the District) for housing and community development programs. To receive these funds, the DC Department of Housing and Community Development (DHCD), along with the Department of Health (DC Health) and the Department of Human Services (DHS) develop an "Action Plan" to spend the federal resources.

The DC Department of Housing and Community Development (DHCD) is soliciting public comments on the District’s effectiveness during FY 2020 at using federal funds to meet the city’s housing and community development needs. This is in preparation for submitting the FY 2020 Consolidated Annual Performance and Evaluation Report (CAPER) to the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD).

Housing Production Trust Fund Board Public Meeting
The Housing Production Trust Fund (HPTF) Advisory Board (Board) was established by the Council of the District of Columbia, under the Housing Production Trust Fund Act of 1988, effective on June 8, 1990 (DC Law 8-133; D.C. Official Code section 42-2802.01), as amended. The purpose of the Board is to advise the Mayor on the development, financing, and operation of the HPTF and other matters related to the production of housing for low to moderate-income households.
