The District of Columbia Department of Housing and Community Development (DHCD or “the Department”) through its Office of the Director is seeking a Fund Manager for DHCD’s newly established Housing Preservation Fund.

The purpose of this Request for Applications (RFA) is to solicit applications from fund managers capable of structuring, administering, funding and managing a public-private fund in Washington, D.C. to receive and leverage the available Preservation Fund resources of the District and use them to increase the preservation of affordable housing in Washington, DC. Note that the application deadline has been extended to December 18, 2017, 4:00 p.m. EST.

The goal of the Housing Preservation Fund is to aid in achieving the policy objective of the DC Housing Preservation Strike Force: “Preserving the affordability of 100% of its existing federally and city-assisted affordable rental homes.”
