DHCD Releases Request for Proposals for LIHTC and DMH Funding

DHCD released a RFP for 9 percent Federal Low Income Housing Tax Credits and up to $2 million for the development of supportive housing units for the exclusive use of Department of Mental Health consumers.

(Washington, DC) - The Department of Housing and Community Development (DHCD) today released a Request for Proposals (RFP) for 9 percent Federal Low Income Housing Tax Credits (LIHTC). Also available under this notice are up to $2 million for the development of supportive housing units for the exclusive use of Department of Mental Health consumers.

The RFP package (in CD format) is available for pick-up at DHCD, located at 1800 Martin Luther King Jr. Avenue, SE (first floor reception desk).  The files can also be downloaded below.  A pre-proposal conference will be held on Tuesday, April 14 from 6:30 pm to 8:30 pm, at Matthews Memorial Baptist Church, 2616 Martin Luther King Jr., Avenue, SE.  Completed applications are due to DHCD no later than Monday, May 18.
