DC Homeowner Assistance Fund

The DC Homeowner Assistance Fund has allocated all of its federal relief funding and will no longer provide grant assistance or payments to District homeowners affected by COVID-19.

DHCD's New Location

On April 1st, DHCD moved to its new location at 1909 Martin Luther King Jr. Avenue SE, and the location at 1800 Martin Luther King Jr. Avenue SE closed on Friday, March 29th. DHCD opened at its new location on Tuesday, April 2, 2024.

FY 2015-2016 DC Draft Action Plan and CAPER Public Hearing

The Department of Housing and Community Development has scheduled a public hearing to receive public comments on its FY 2015-2016 Draft Action Plan and its FY 2015-2016 Consolidated Annual Performance and Evaluation Report (CAPER) to be submitted to the US Department of Housing and Urban Development. The hearing is scheduled for January 19, 2016 at 6:30 pm at the Housing Resource Center at 1800 Martin Luther King Jr. Avenue, SE, Washington, DC 20020.
