On April 1st, DHCD moved to its new location at 1909 Martin Luther King Jr. Avenue SE, and the location at 1800 Martin Luther King Jr. Avenue SE closed on Friday, March 29th. DHCD opened at its new location on Tuesday, April 2, 2024.

Agency PerformanceThe DC Department of Housing and Community Development (DHCD) has released a Solicitation for Offers (SFO) that is seeking proposals to build affordable housing designated toward households making no more than $93,760 (80 percent of the 2018 Median Family Income [MFI] for a family of four), at 199 Chesapeake Street SW.
The pre-bid meeting is being held for entities to learn more about the parcels and the solicitation process.
