Mayor Bowser will cut the ribbon on the Fort Chaplin Park Apartments and celebrate preserving 549 mostly family-sized affordable units in Ward 7.

On April 1st, DHCD moved to its new location at 1909 Martin Luther King Jr. Avenue SE, and the location at 1800 Martin Luther King Jr. Avenue SE closed on Friday, March 29th. DHCD opened at its new location on Tuesday, April 2, 2024.
