On April 1st, DHCD moved to its new location at 1909 Martin Luther King Jr. Avenue SE, and the location at 1800 Martin Luther King Jr. Avenue SE closed on Friday, March 29th. DHCD opened at its new location on Tuesday, April 2, 2024.

Agency Performance(Washington, DC) John E. Hall, Director of the District of Columbia Department of Housing and Community Development (DHCD), released the final 2012 Qualified Allocation Plan (QAP). The QAP is DHCD's federally mandated state plan for the allocation of credits allotted to the District of Columbia by the federal Low Income Housing Tax Credit (LIHTC) program.
